There is a great article that talks about how lesbians love the environment on Grace the Spot, the popular lesbian website which is the "Home of Stuff Lesbians Like".

The article mentions that lesbians love the environment because "It combines two of their favorite things: an increased sense of political awareness and their love of a good cause." It goes on into a humorous look at the evolution of a lesbian trying to be green in order because she is a lesbian and "and this is what we do". It starts out innocently enough with a lesbian woman drinking Fair Trade coffee with a friend and evolving to a situation where she is "chained to a manatee singing “We Shall Overcome” to an audience of disinterested seagulls". Although this is not representative of all lesbians, the article does show how far one lesbian is willing to go to do her part to save the Environment.
